My 1st Blog: My 8,500 Gallon Koi Pond

For years I wanted to build an L shaped pond and I researched how much work was involved and then quickly started drawing up my plans.  It's interesting how much you can accomplish when you Plan your Work and Work your Plan.

Removed the Shed & framed out where I wanted the Pond.

Dug down 4 feet.

4 rows of Concrete Blocks filled with Cement

30x30 foot liner

I had to jump IN and position the Pump on a milk crate.  (put your Pump on a milk crate so if the pond ever leaks & drains you will still have 1 foot of water for your fish.)
